Somkiat Chantra has also had a run-off at the last corner.
Fabio Quartararo already looks pretty unhappy on his Yamaha. He just had a big moment on the brakes into the last corner and has bailed into pitlane.
10 minutes gone in Practice. The top 10 are:
- Aldeguer
- Mir
- Bagnaia
- Di Giannantonio
- Marini
- Marquez
- Bezzecchi
- Quartararo
- Zarco
- Espargaro
Aldeguer has a pretty decent advantage already of 0.3s over Bagnaia, who has made an encouraging start to this afternoon's session.
Luca Marini was up to second but has just been demoted to sixth after that lap was cancelled.
Fermin Aldeguer is now back on top with a 1m58.279s.

Early laps on the board and it's Marco Bezzecchi leading the way with a 1m58.915s.
Pedro Acosta has gone down at Turn 9 already. Front-end washout for the KTM rider, but that's two crashes already for today.
Everyone has gone out on fresh softs to start this session.
Given the uncertainty of the weather, it's likely we will see some very early time attacks at the start of this session just so the riders can get a banker in.
If your are new to MotoGP, or just need a reminder, the top 10 at the end of this session will go directly into Q2 qualifying tomorrow.
Practice goes green.
A reminder that this is an hour-long session.
Nice to see a big thumbs up from Pecco Bagnaia before heading out for Practice. He looked a bit better this morning. Hopefully that continues.
Just five minutes till pitlane opens.
We've just had a shot of our FP1 pacesetter Fermin Aldeguer, who obviously comes to Sepang with some data to fall on. So, perhaps unsurprising to see him lead the way this morning.
Providing the rain stays away for this session, the long running in the dry will be fascinating as it will offer our first chance to compare to the long running from February testing.
The rain that impacted FP1 earlier has disappeared, and it's a toasty 30 degrees C out there for the afternoon session.
Despite the delay, PR will still run for an hour.
Good afternoon and welcome back to live coverage of Friday at the 2025 Malaysian Grand Prix.
Practice is coming at 8:35am UK time, which is a bit later than expected. But that is due to an oil spill severely delaying things earlier today.
The oil spill from this afternoon's Moto3 session has proven hugely disruptive, with MotoGP Practice delays by over 30 minutes.

Malaysian MotoGP Practice delayed after support class oil spill

The earlier oil delay means Moto2 Practice will now start at 14:40 and MotoGP Practice at 15:35.
Both sessions are 35-minutes later than planned.
After a 35-minute delay, Moto3 Practice begins, with dark clouds overhead.
Meanwhile, more dark clouds are gathering overhead.
Moto3 Practice is now estimated to start at 13:50 local time, which was when the session should have finished.
The good news is that earlier rain has cleared and the track dry again. The bad news is that there's been a big oil spill in the Asia Talent Cup session.
The clean-up is ongoing, delaying the start of Moto3 afternoon practice, and it's likely to have a knock-on effect for the following Moto2 and MotoGP sessions.
