Marco Bezzecchi suddenly blasts half-a-second clear of the field with a new lap record. Marc Marquez improves to second place, but is still 0.421s behind.

Alex Marquez proves a fast lap is still possible by setting his best lap of the session and is now ahead of brother Marc for 5th.
Ducati test rider Michele Pirro accidentally blocks his Gresini team-mate Alex Marquez, who makes his frustration clear.
The incident is under investigation by the FIM Stewards.

Team-mate Marc Marquez, currently fifth, runs wide, perhaps due to the conditions.
Fabio di Giannantonio trims a tenth from his session leading lap time and is now 0.182s ahead of Marco Bezzecchi. Jorge Martin leapfrogs Pedro Acosta for third.
WorldSBK champion Toprak Razgatlioglu is up to 18th place for Pramac Yamaha, 1.174s behind Fabio di Giannantonio.
Razgatlioglu is ahead of Francesco Bagnaia, Alex Rins, Jack Miller and Michele Pirro.
Jorge Martin vaults from eleventh to fourth place, between Pedro Acosta and Marc Marquez.
