It's difficult to remember a season as exciting as this in spite of one rider's dominance. Marc Marquez has rewritten the record books time and time again. It's a genuine pleasure to watch a man of his talents at work. Sadly that's a wrap for 2014, the year which brought the best 125/Moto3 season in living memory and confirmed Marc Marquez as one of the sport's all-time greats. The 21-year old could announce his retirement tomorrow and would still forever be mentioned in the same breath as names like Hailwood, Rossi, Agostini, Doohan and Roberts. Thankfully, that's not going to happen and we have it all to look forward to in 2015! Thanks for your company throughout the year. Be sure to stay up to date with all the off-season testing and movements on Crash.net and we'll see you again next March. We're already counting down the days. Right, now to find the destination of and blag our way in to the Marquez family end-of-season party.

Imagine that. Valentino Rossi challenging for the MotoGP world championship at 36 years of age. And after his performances this year you certainly wouldn't count him out. If he could push Marquez in a tight championship battle and - deep breath - win it that would surely take him above Hailwood as the greatest of all time.
