Lorenzo: "When the team gave me a new fuel tank and I felt comfortable I could keep a more constant pace. It's like a dream!"

13:58

Dovizioso: "I'm not 100% happy. I think we did the right decision with the front. I saw Rossi lose the front 3 times early. We did the right decision. At the end I finish the rear. This weekend was difficult for us. We're going home with 20 points. Jorge did a perfect race."

The podium men speak....

Rossi: "It was a very difficult race. We knew it would be hard to race with the hard front. It was the right choice because the others suffered on the right side. Iannone gave me the fight until the end but the podium was the target."

And Marquez did well to make it to the finish, albeit 16th and out of the points. The title race is back on, with Rossi now just 23 points back of Marquez.

23/23: Lorenzo wins it! And Rossi rides a sensational last lap - 1m 48.5s (1.5s quicker than the Ducati ahead) - to get within 0.2s of Dovizioso. A Ducati 1-2 and Rossi on the podium. How about that for an Italian Grand Prix?

13:44

23/23: Rossi has just enough in hand to hold 3rd and the battle between Iannone and Rins is hotting up for 4th. Rossi is really closing in on Dovizioso but he's just running out of time.

13:44

23/23: Last lap and just one lap stands between Lorenzo and a first Ducati win! Dovizioso has really eased up and Rossi and Iannone aren't too far away - 2s.

13:40

22/23: Iannone has another dive under Rossi at T1 and, again, he's wide. Rossi is back through - he won't give up on this podium

13:40

21/23: And Aleix Espargaro has retired out of 12th on another miserable afternoon for Aprilia.

13:40

21/23: Petrucci is wide at T1 and Crutchlow is up to 6th!

13:39
13:38

20/23: This is a majestic ride from Lorenzo, posting a 1m 48.5 on the 19th lap. Everyone else is in the 1m 49s. Incredible.

13:36

20/23: Iannone is giving Rossi a lot to think about, out-braking him into T1, but he's wide. Rossi is back through,
