Champion Kenny ties the knot.

MotoGP king Kenny Roberts Jr has finally married long-time girlfriend Rochelle at a ceremony in his home town of Modesto, California.

Roberts, crowned as GP500 champion after a controlled season, is taking a well-earned break from the track, while his rivals pound the tarmac in search of an advantage over the American for next year, and has made time to marry the girl who has supported him through thick and thin for the past five seasons.

Rochelle Beery does not attend every race with the new champion - she has her own career to attend to - but was as pleased as anyone when Roberts took both his first race win last season, and the world title this year.
