British GP wild cards named.
The wild-card riders for this weekend's Cinzano British Grand Prix have been unveiled, with some of Britain's rising stars slated to ride at Donington Park on 14 July.
While Suzuki will again field Akira Ryo as the sole MotoGP class wild card, nine British riders get their chance to compete with the world's elite in the 250cc and 125cc classes. For some, like former TSR rider Stuart Edwards, it is a return to the world scene, while, for newcomers like Christian Elkin and Andrew Whittley, the opportunity arrives for the first time.
