Rossi: The fight is very tight
Yamaha took over from Honda at the top of the timesheets on day two of official 2018 testing at Sepang in Malaysia. Movistar riders Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi were separated by just 0.035s at the front, on a day when 0.392s covered the fastest nine riders.

New fairings: Rossi, Vinales, Marquez, Pedrosa, Crutchlow
Day two of the Sepang test saw no less than five MotoGP riders make their debut with new downforce-generating fairings, from Honda and Yamaha.

Suzuka: Crutchlow '20%', Pedrosa 'one day… with Gibernau!'
There are rumours that HRC wants to call-up MotoGP stars Cal Crutchlow and Dani Pedrosa to try and win back the Suzuka 8 Hours title from Yamaha this season. But both seemed doubtful it would happen, when quizzed on day two of the Sepang MotoGP test.

2018 starts with Pedrosa fastest for Honda
Dani Pedrosa put Honda fastest on the opening day of official 2018 MotoGP testing, at Sepang on Sunday. With the track getting ever-faster following earlier rain, the Repsol star punched out a 1m 59.427s shortly before the 6pm finish.
