Gresini confirms Michelin, Fortuna exit.
Shortly after the season-ending Valencia Grand Prix, Fausto Gresini confirmed that neither tyre supplier Michelin, nor cigarette manufacturer Fortuna, will continue to support the satellite Honda team next season.

Fortuna concentrates on Lorenzo.
Having announced its departure from title sponsorship of the Gresini Honda MotoGP team, despite riders Marco Melandri and Toni Elias taking four victories this season, cigarette manufacturer Fortuna will instead concentrate all its backing behind newly crowned 250cc world champion Jorge Lorenzo.
