"The Moto1 challenge has created a lot of interest in the industry and I'm pleased to be able to add Honda?s name to the list of partners in the event," said Honda UK's Motorcycle Division General Manager Mark Davies.

"The spirit of the Moto1 event, with its four different disciplines, will offer everything that is fun and enjoyable about motorcycling. I'm certain the event will be successful and will continue to grow."

The first ever Moto1 winner will be one of 24 of Britain's leading stars from road racing, motocross, trials, enduro and supermoto - all doing battle over four disciplines throughout the two days; road racing, motocross, trials and supermoto.

"The support of Honda UK for the Moto1 event has left us all very excited," said Moto1 Managing Director Robbie Allan. "And Honda's supply of a range of varying models of machine for the varying disciplines is exactly what we were looking for from the outset and very much appreciated."

Moto1 will run from 9am to 4.30pm each day. Additional attractions include the final round of the World Stunt Riding championship, a World Long Jump record attempt, freestyle motocross demonstrations, youth trials and motocross, a National Supermoto, two days of road races, a Classic Parade, the "world famous" Purple Helmets and an extensive trade exhibition.

"We're moving into the next stage of preparation for Moto1 and the whole weekend festival is looking very exciting - welcoming Honda aboard is another step forward for us," concluded Allan.
