Adam Jenkinson, a 20-year-old competitor in the R6 cup, pulled off a save of the season when his Yamaha tried to dismount him and send him off into the tyre barrier.

Jenkinson is carrying a hairline fracture in his pelvis from an accident at Knock Hill earlier this year so crashing just wasn't an option.

Jenkinson is carrying a hairline fracture in his pelvis from an accident at Knock Hill earlier this year so crashing just wasn't an option.

The plucky young rider was in second place in the race last weekend at Croft when the bike tried to throw him over the handle bars in a violent high-side.

He then promptly turned his motorcycle around and continued on in the race, recording an astonishing fifth place.
