Lando Norris wins the Mexico City Grand Prix to move to the top of the overall standings, ahead of Oscar Piastri who can only manage fifth
Two events and three races across 8 days and the championship race has a very different look to it
Next up we head to South America for the São Paulo Grand Prix at the iconic Interlagos circuit in Brazil
Based on his performance in Mexico, it looks like the momentum is with Norris now but there is still a long way to go before this battle is settled
Lando Norris is the new F1 points' leader after his win in Mexico City but by the smallest margin - just a single point over Piastri
Verstappen loses ground to Norris, but closes on the overall lead - he is now 36 points behind

Meanwhile, Ferrari is back at the front of the battle for the runners-up spot in the constructors' championship
"It was hectic at the beginning for me. We had a very good start but it's such a long run to Turn 1 and we were on the outside, so I had to be on that kerb and it kept bottoming out and I had to run onto the grass.
"Then after that there was a lot going on. Everyone was on softs, so it was a case of surviving the first stint, trying to go as long as we could. Once we bolted on the softs, we were more competitive. It has been a difficult weekend for us so to be fighting for P2 considering what happened in the first laps, it is still a strong result."
On the late VSC: "You win some, you lose some..."
"Very happy with this weekend. United States was very positive for us, but we didn't know what to expect this weekend, so to end up on the podium is a big surprise.
"I was quite happy about the VSC at the end, my tyres was completely gone and I could see Verstappen was coming back on the softs, so it was tough. The safety car saved me at the end."
"What a race, I could just keep focused and eyes forward. A pretty straightforward race for me, which is what I was after. Good start, good first lap and then go from there...
[On start] "I just stayed relaxed. I got a much better launch than the guys around. My first win in Mexico, so a big thanks."
Elsewhere in the top ten, Antonelli holds position ahead of Russell in what will feel like a disappointing result for Mercedes as it failed to get by Bearman and was then out-foxed by Piastri.
Hamilton will be left to bemoan the 10secs penalty that really scuppered his hopes of a podium.
The Briton will also likely have some choice words about Leclerc and Verstappen after they avoided penalties when he was given a big one.
Almost unnoticed, Ocon makes it a day to remember for Haas with a strong run to ninth, while Bortoleto pulled off some fine moves en route to another point for Sauber.

Bearman in fourth is a big story of the day though, the Briton claiming a big personal best result and even equalling Haas' best-ever F1 finish
Better still, he didn't luck into it, he did it purely on pace alone resisting rival after rival from start to finish - incredible result for Haas!
For the first time since Saudi Arabia, Norris leads the F1 standings by a single point over Piastri
Norris' winning margin is more than 30 seconds in the end - you don't get more dominant than that!
Leclerc is saved by the late VSC, robbing Verstappen the chance to make a punt into Turn 1 for the final time

Just as Verstappen crawls over the back of Leclerc... Norris starts the final lap as we neutralise the pace
Yellow flags are out as Carlos Sainz has come to a stop
Verstappen is now right on Leclerc's tail with less than two laps to go
Fourth place is the difference between holding the championship lead and losing it for Piastri
Whichever way it falls, there will be barely anything between the McLaren drivers heading to Brazil
Two battles brewing for second and fourth
Verstappen is nudging closer and closer to Leclerc DRS range, while Piastri is doing the same with Bearman.
Verstappen is going gang busters to try and hunt down Leclerc - it is 2.5s with five laps remaining.
He is on course to catch but it will be a close run thing
Bearman is still holding his own in this herculean battle for fourth place
He remains just over a second clear of Piastri - he is just six laps shy of a big personal best result for the British rookie
There has been so much action in his wake that it is easy to forget Lando Norris is cruising to an utterly dominant win.
He is now nearly half-a-minute clear of his nearest rival - it's up to Piastri to clear Bearman to ensure it isn't Norris that leaves Mexico as the championship leader
Meanwhile, Verstappen is still closing on Leclerc - just three seconds between them in the battle for second now
Russell has sacrificed his sixth place to Antonelli
The Briton was given position by his younger team-mate earlier as they attempted to find a way past Bearman, but his failure to do so means the Italian is up to sixth
Bortoleto has got his man at last as he passes Hadjar to sneak into tenth place for a potential single point
Antonelli is on the ball...
The moment Piastri passes Russell for fifth, Antonelli in seventh is on the radio saying they should invert positions again now.
He may be young, but he knows his rights!
Piastri has finally got the better of Russell in the battle for fifth with a long but neat lunge into Turn 1.
