2025 F1 Abu Dhabi GP - Friday Practice - As it happened

Norris, Verstappen, Leclerc, Antonelli, Hulkenberg, Russell, Bortoleto, Bearman, Sainz and Colapinto.

A spin for Leclerc at Turn 5. He manages to keep it out of the barriers.

Some sort of issue for Norris as he gets out of his car as we head into the final 10 minutes. 

Norris, Verstappen, Leclerc, Antonelli, Hulkenberg, Russell, Bortoleto, Colapinto, Sainz and Hadjar. 

Norris improves to take top spot off Verstappen, 0.008s between the top two in the championship. 

Hulkenberg finds time on his soft run, moving into fourth in the Sauber. 

He goes into third, within a tenth of Verstappen's benchmark. 

Norris slots into second on the softs, 0.026 off Verstappen's best time.

Verstappen, Russell, Antonelli, Hulkenberg, Hadjar, O'Ward, Sainz, Bortoleto, Norris and Colapinto. 

Verstappen goes well clear on the softs, setting a 1m24.493s. 

A 1m25.245s for Hadjar to take top spot off Sainz. Both drivers on the hards. 

Sainz, Hadjar, Bortoleto, Hulkenberg, Norris, Verstappen, Colapinto, Leclerc, Antonelli and Russell.

Verstappen gets a clean lap in to slot into second, just behind Norris who has gone fastest.

Antonelli, Sainz, Norris, Russell, O'Ward, Hulkenberg, Leclerc, Verstappen, Bearman and Hadjar. 

The F1 championship leader storms to the top on the medium tyre now. 1m25.764s for Norris, 0.039s ahead of Russell. O'Ward rounds out the top three, on the softs. 

Antonelli is on top with a 1m26.347s, 0.3s ahead of Sainz. Lindblad, Verstappen and Russell complete the top five.
