That's a wrap on our live coverage of the opening F1 pre-season test of 2020, but we will be back in Barcelona next week for the second three-day test, which runs between February 26-28.

17:08

And here is our report from the last day of action of the first test...

17:04

Here is how the final day of the first F1 test finished up on the timesheet

17:00

Chequered flag on Day 3 of Test 1!

16:47

Ricciardo isn't letting that earlier spin slow him down though as he puts in a 1m17.574s to move up to P7 on today's timesheet.

16:38

Here's that spin by Ricciardo from earlier...

16:35

Norris teases a serious lap time gain but backs off in the final sector to only improve with a 1m 18.477s.

16:30

Ricciardo is back on track after his stop at Turn 9 an hour ago but he's throwing about the R.S.20 too much as he spins at Turn 13.

16:19

A lot of teams have split their running plans between their two drivers today and with the three red flag stoppages it means the lap totals are a little lower than Day 1 and Day 2. Stroll is only the second driver to surpass the 100-lap marker today after Giovinazzi, but collectively Renault, Mercedes, Red Bull and McLaren have also achieved the feat.

15:56

Green flag - away we go with 64 minutes of Test 1 to go!

15:51
15:47

Ricciardo's Renault is being recovered by the circuit marshals so there is a brief pause in the action until the R.S.20 is returned to the team garage.

15:43

Ricciardo has stopped on track on the entry to Turn 9. It hasn't been the smoothest of running for Renault today and this will not help things. Red flag!

15:37

Hamilton lines up for a hot lap on the softest tyres available but gets it all sideways through Turn 13 which messes up the lap. The Mercedes driver does improve on his personal best with a 1m 16.516s but remains 0.784s off the earlier effort from Bottas.

Counting down to just two hours left of the first pre-season test. Plenty of cars on track without much change in the timesheet order as temperatures begin to cool off in the late afternoon sunshine.

14:41

Haas confirms it is done for the day following Magnussen's crash earlier this afternoon. The damage done means the team can't get worthwhile running in over the last two-and-a-bit hours.
