de la Rosa 'pleased' for Wurz.

McLaren test driver, Pedro de la Rosa has admitted that while he would like to have raced again this weekend, following his fine fifth place finish in Bahrain, he is 'pleased' to see his team-mate, and fellow tester, Alex Wurz get a chance.

Speaking after the announcement that Juan Montoya is not fit enough to return to action, the Spaniard, who will drive the third car on Friday, added that pre-event testing had gone well, something that bodes well for the squad this weekend.

"Although I would of course rather be racing again, after such an exciting Bahrain Grand Prix, I am pleased for Alex that he is also having a chance," he noted.

"We had a productive couple of test sessions building up to this race, completing over 4700 kms overall at the Circuit de Catalunya and Paul Ricard.

"Our schedule focused on testing various modifications prior to the Grand Prix and also tyre selection with Michelin and damper work."

McLaren meanwhile have added that the driver allocation for the third car for the remainder of the 2005 season will be 'reviewed by the team' after the Spanish Grand Prix.
