Etihad signs Abu Dhabi deal.
Having already been involved in the Formula 1 paddock as sponsors of the Spyker/Force India team, Etihad Airways has been named as title sponsor of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, which will debut on the F1 calendar in 2009.

Bell: Mackereth was just reckless.
Renault technical chief Bob Bell has admitted that he feels engineer Phil Mackereth was 'reckless' in his actions that led to the regie being dragged into the Formula 1 spying row and hadn't set out to give his new employees any kind of unfair advantage.

Silverstone gets new pit wall.
Construction of a new pit wall at Silverstone, home of the British Grand Prix, is set to get underway later this month, when the existing wall will be demolished.
