Davidson to race Civic Type-R at Macau.
Anthony Davidson, the Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda F1 test driver, is to race a Honda Civic Type-R at Macau on 16 and 17 November this year in an initiative supported by Honda Motor Europe to bring the success of its production racer to Asia's pre-eminent touring car event.

Malaysia's first-ever Formula 1 driver Alex Yoong is targeting a move to CART next year. Yoong, who failed to impress during his time with Minardi, told his personal website Alexyoong.com : "We are very close to signing with a winning CART team.

McNish tests IRL car at Fontana.
Allan McNish, who drove for Panasonic Toyota Racing in 2002 during the first Formula One season for the team, tested an Indy Racing League car equipped with the new Toyota engine Oct. 21 at California Speedway.

The inaugural Red Bull F1 Driver Search narrowed to four when a quartet of young American drivers were selected by a panel of judges to race in Europe with funding from Red Bull energy drink next season.

BAR Formula 1 team Co-Founder/Race Operations Director and former partner of Reynard, Rick Gorne confirmed that he has signed up Malaysia's first Formula 1 driver, Alex Yoong, to his management company "Goman" in a long-term contract with immediate effect.
