The Sauber Petronas team will launch their 2003 World Championship challenger, the C22 today [Sunday] in Switzerland. The all-new C22 is designed to include the best bits of the successful C20 and C21 in an otherwise fresh package.

Obituary: 'Silver Arrow' Manfred von Brauchitsch.
At the age of 97, Manfred von Brauchitsch, member of the successful Mercedes-Benz racing team in the Silver Arrow era in the 1930s, died on February 5, 2003 in Gr?fenwarth near Schleiz in Thuringia.

Brawn welcomes 'spy in the cockpit'.
At yesterday's launch of Ferrari's 2003 racer, Technical Director Ross Brawn stated that he expects the FIA to introduce what he called a "Spy in the cockpit" to ensure teams stick to the upcoming driver aid ban.

Verstappen tests for Minardi, tyre woes continue.
The second day of the Minardi team's opening test of the 2003 season, at Valencia's Circuit Ricardo Tormo, should have been a particularly satisfying occasion, as it marked the return of popular Dutch driver, Jos Verstappen, to the F1 arena.

McLaren-Mercedes third driver Alexander Wurz set the quickest time today [Wednesday] at Valencia, beating Ferrari's Michael Schumacher by five tenths of a second. Wurz completed 68 laps and set a best time of 1 minute 11.104 seconds.
