Ferrari have announced a sponsorship deal with the leading telecommunications, media and Internet company Telecom Italia Group that will come into effect from January next year.

Juan Pablo Montoya has admitted that ninth in qualifying was a better outcome than he has expected, after he struggled with a lack of grip for most of the Nurburgring weekend.

Dell extend BMW partnership to F1.
BMW Sauber have announced that IT specialists Dell will be extending their partnership with the manufacturer to Formula One, with their logo appearing on Nick Heidfeld and Jacques Villeneuve's sidepods and helmets for qualifying at the European Grand Prix.

Honda `suggested` to FIA about Ferrari wings.
Geoff Willis has clarified Honda's role in the dispute over Ferrari's flexible rear wing dispute, insisting that they have merely suggested to the FIA that their rivals may be flouting the rules.

Villeneuve apologises for costing Fisi top ten.
Jacques Villeneuve has apologised to Giancarlo Fisichella for costing the Italian a place in the final top ten shootout, although the Renault driver continued to express his anger after the Canadian inadvertently blocked him on his fastest lap.

Montagny struck with bad luck on quali debut.
Franck Montagny experienced a baptism of fire in his first ever Formula One qualifying session, when various problems prevented him from setting a meaningful time.
Klien and Horner angry following Sato incident.
Christian Klien and Red Bull Racing boss, Christian Horner, have hit out at Takuma Sato after he blocked the Austrian and prevented him from getting into the second knockout session.

Albers: It was tough for Ide.
Midland's Christijan Albers has revealed that he feels somewhat sorry for Yuji Ide, who has been axed by the Super Aguri F1 team following a recommendation from the FIA, the sports governing body, that he should get more mileage in testing.
