McLaren's best hope Pato O'Ward runs in 11th place on lap 117 of 120. He faces an uphill climb to score his first win in the Indy 500.
Race resumes for good this time on lap 110! Devlin DeFrancesco leads the way from Conor Daly.
The race resumed at the end of lap 106, only for race control to throw the yellow flag again. Christian Rasmussen just avoided a crash after his rear-end went loose.
Ryan Hunter-Rear makes his third pitstop for fuel under caution and drops to 21st. Devlin DeFrancesco is now in front but he is due a pitstop.

Replays show Kyle Larson losing control of his car on his own while downshifting and collecting both Kyffin Simpson and Sting Ray Robb. Caution flag is out again.
Kyle Larson is involved in a multi-car incident at the restart. His hopes of completing the double are over.
Alex Palou is running fifth but is the effective race leader. The four drivers ahead of him have either not pitted or are on different strategy.
Robert Shwartzman also makes a mistake heading into his pitbox and hits a member of his pit crew. He is out of the race, while his fueler is heading to the medical centre for check-ups.
Takuma Sato misses his braking marker in the pits and RLL crew have to wheel him back into his pitbox. The time loss has dropped Sato to 17th place.

Rinus Veekay spins on the entrance to the pitlane with an apparent brake issue. He is out of the car.
Penske's Josef Newgarden is running in ninth place having started down in 32nd. With more than half the race to go, he still has a shot at making it three in a row.
Alexander Rossi's car catches fire as he makes his pitstop. The crew have extinguished the fire, but the 2016 winner is out of the race.
