On a recent visit to Hungary, Crash.net viewer Garry Challinor stopped by to see the progress of the new Balatonring circuit, which will host a round of next year's MotoGP World Championship.
As previously rumoured, the new Hungarian round of the MotoGP World Championship - due to take place in 2009 - has been postponed until 2010. Reports in February had cast serious doubt on whether the new Balatonring circuit would be finished in time for its debut event.
The first stone of the new Balatonring circuit, which will host next year's Hungarian Grand Prix, was laid on the construction site near Savoly in Western Hungary on Thursday.
