Four times 500cc World Champion Eddie Lawson was welcomed into the MotoGP Hall of Fame, as a MotoGP legend, on the eve of the US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca. Californian born Lawson won three 500cc world titles in 1984/86/88 for Yamaha before switching to Honda to clinch the 1989 title.
