Red Bull junior driver and former Mercedes factory racer Lucas Auer will prepare for his full-time Super Formula campaign in 2019 by taking part in the Toyota Racing Series in New Zealand over the winter.

Red Bull has confirmed junior programme member Dan Ticktum will race in Japan’s Super Formula championship in 2019.

Mercedes driver Lucas Auer will start the penultimate race of the 2018 season from pole position ahead of Gary Paffett, who crucially out-qualified his main DTM title rivals at the Hockenheimring.

Mercedes driver Lucas Auer will start the first DTM race of the weekend from pole position after beating BMW's Phillip Eng to the top-spot by 0.007s at the Lausitzring. 

Lucas Auer says he is looking forward to the prospect of battling new Mercedes teammate Pascal Wehrlein throughout the 2018 DTM season.
