In LMGT3, Alessio Rovera is fastest in the No.21 AF Corse Ferrari from the No.27 HOR Aston of Mattia Drudi.
The No.199 AO by TF LMP2 car driven by Louis Deletraz goes fastest with a 3m36.442s ahead of the No.23 United Autosports entry of Ben Hanley.
Rossi is using former team-mate Maxime Martin in the No.61 Iron Lynx as a tow at the start of this flying lap.
Valentino Rossi leads the field out in the No.46 WRT BMW.
Rossi is chasing a first pole at Le Mans (albeit not on the same layout) since the 2010 MotoGP French Grand Prix - 15 years ago!
Pitlane is open for the Hyperpole 2 session for LMGT3 and LMP2.
This is a 15-minute session.
So, Hyperpole 2 runners are:
LMP2
- No.43 Inter Europol
- No. 199 AO by TF
- No.22 United Autosports
- No.29 TDS Racing
- No.183 AF Corse
- No.37 CLX - Pure Rxing
- No.23 United Autosports
- No.16 RLR M Sports
LMGT3
- No.46 WRT BMW
- No.81 TF Sport Corvette
- No.92 Manthey Porsche
- No.27 Heart of Racing Aston Martin
- No.61 Iron Lynx Mercedes
- No.21 Vista AF Corse Ferrari
- No.78 Akkodis ASP Team Lexus

Not progressing through to Hyperpole 2 in the LMGT3 class are the No.193 Ziggo Sport Tempesta entry, the No.88 Proton Competition Ford, the No.59 United Autosports McLaren and the No.54 Vista AF Corse Ferrari.
In LMGT3, there has been a late shock!
The No.95 driven by Sean Gelael, which had stopped earlier in the session, managed to get going again and has jumped up to eighth to get into Hyperpole 2!
The No.43 remains fastest in LMP2 in H1, while the No.46 is fastest in LMGT3.
Going out of H1 in LMP2 are the No.28 IDEC Sport car, the No.45 Algarve Pro Racing, the No.48 VDS Panis Racing and the No.25 Algarve Pro Racing entries.
The chequered flag is out. Still laps to be completed.
Nick Yelloly gets the No.43 Inter Europol car from last to first in LMP2 with a 3m34.657s!
No.22 United Autosports' Renger van der Zande is fastest in LMP2 with a 3m36.135s from the No.199 AO by TF with Dane Cameron behind the wheel.
In LMGT3, van der Linde has put the No.46 WRT BMW fastest.
The No.95 United Autosports McLaren appears to have stopped on track. No yellow flags so far.
Big pressure on now because there's just six minutes left, which means everyone will have about two laps to bag a place in Hyperpole 2.
So, cars in the dropzone for LMP2 right now are:
No.48 Panis Racing
No.25 Algarve Pro Racing
No.43 Inter Europol
No.22 United Autosports
And there we go green again.
There's 11 minutes left in this session.
Race direction have said this session will be restarted on a short call when it does get going again, which means it will be a pretty rapid green flag.
The No.54 will not be able to rejoin this session now it has been recovered, but that does mean one care already in the dropzone for LMGT3.
The red flag meant only a handful of LMGT3 laps have been registered, with the No.21 Vista AF Corse - the No.54's team-mate - is top with Simon Mann behind the wheel on a 3m54.745s.
Big off for the No.37 CLX entry tapped the barrier on an earlier push lap.
That car already hit the barrier in FP3 earlier today.
The No.54, driven by Francesco Castellacci, spun off into the gravel at the Porsche Curves.
The session has been stopped.
The No.54 has gone off and is stuck in the garage.
First laps on the board at the No.199 AO by TF car was brielfy top, but has been shuffled to third by the No.23 United Autosports entry and the No.29 TDS Racing car.
Best lap 3m36.984s.
A lot of cars in both classes seem to be leaning on their highest graded driver to get through to H2.
Which says a lot about just how important H1 is. Getting through to the top eight is more important than outright pole in H2.
Some interesting driver choices for this H1 session, particularly in the No.46 WRT BMW.
Valentino Rossi was expected to be in the car for this session, but they've elected to go with Kelvin van der Linde.
