The session has been stopped due to an off for the No.183 AF Corse LMP2 car has gone off at the Porsche Curves but has managed to reverse out of the barrier.

15:19

15:11

The No.10 Racing Spirit of Le Mans Aston Martin, currently being driven by Eduardo Barrichello, is being investigated for pitlane speeding.

His dad, former F1 driver Rubens, is sat in the garage watching on this weekend.

15:07

Interesting look here at the No.7 Toyota following the No.51 Ferrari.

Toyota's drivers have said already they feel they don't have the top speed to match Ferrari and we're seeing that play out in real time right now.

14:58

The No.22 United Autosports LMP2 entry had a small moment into Arnage by the looks of it, but nothing major.

14:57
Engine change for No.101

Cadillac have confirmed a change of engine for the No.101 WTR Cadillac as a preemptive measure.

Full statement below:

"The No.101 Cadillac Wayne Taylor Racing V-Series.R crew and Cadillac engineers will preemptively swap out the 5.5-liter DOHC V8 engine after detecting a potential issue in this free practice session. The No.101 Hypercar, sitting 14th on the time sheet, is among the four Cadillac entries to qualify for Hyperpole 1."

14:55

The slow zone has ended and we're back at green flag running.

14:54

The No.9 Iron Lynx car has been recovered from the gravel and has gotten going again. Not too much damage to the front of that car, by the looks of it.

Story - Why Valentino Rossi enjoys Le Mans more than MotoGP

This year is Valentino Rossi's second start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

He spoke to the media today following the No.46 WRT BMW topping qualifying on Wednesday and we asked him how he feels about racing at Le Mans compared to his days in MotoGP.

Found out what he had to say here

14:49

The No.9 Iron Lynx LMP2 car just locked up and ran into the barrier.

14:48

The No.9 LMP2 entry has gone off at Indianapolis. So, yellow flags are out and the slow zone will be deployed soon.

14:46

Hour one of this FP3 session is in the books and the No.51 Ferrari remains fastest with a 3m25.705s.

In LMP2, it's still the No.23 United Autosports car with a 3m37.436s.

In LMGT3, it's the No.59 United Autosports McLaren leading the way at 3m56.932s.

14:37

There is a new leader in LMGT3, which is the No. 59 United Autosports McLaren with Gregoire Saucy behind the wheel.

14:36

Green running has been ongoing for the last few minutes but no major order shake-ups right now.

There will be a lot of used rubber running going on.

14:31

The No.90 Porsche is having some brakes changed in pitlane.

Incidentally, that car has a Chip Hart Racing livery on it - which is a nod to the upcoming F1 movie.

As far as I'm aware, Brad Pitt isn't making any kind of Le Mans wildcard appearance!

14:25

Slow zones are active while the No.54 car is recovered.

14:24

The No.54 Vista AF Corse Ferrari LMGT3 entry has spun off at the last corner.

That car has Thomas Flohr behind the wheel.

Yellow flags are out.

14:23

Big lock-up for the No.7 Toyota a few moments ago, which has now come back into pitlane.

Mike Conway has just finished a stint. We spoke to him earlier today and he feels Toyota is lacking in top speed - which was a surprise to him - in high-speed corners.

With no Hyperpole for that car this evening, it can focus fully on race set-up.

14:16

Only the No.50 Ferrari is yet to put a lap on the board in the Hypercar class after half an hour.

The No.51 Ferrari remains fastest with a 3m25.705s.

14:09

The No.23 United Autosports entry now leads the LMP2 class with a 3m37.436s.

14:07

The No.46 WRT car has been given a warning for exceeding track limits.

14:03

A bit of very good news for the start of this session. The No.63 Iron Lynx Mercedes has been out on track following its big crash yesterday.

That Mercedes has had to be rebuilt and will need some time to dial in.

14:02

The No.46 WRT BMW has moved into second in LMGT3 with Kelvin van der Linde behind the wheel.

Ahmad Al Harthy got that car into top spot in qualifying last night.

14:01

No big changes in Hypercar. Still a Ferrari 1-2 from the No.6 Porsche.

With its qualifying now over after its disqualification, this session will allow Porsche to focus fully on the No.6 car's race set-up.

13:55

First laps through and the No.51 Ferrari driven by Antonio Giovinazzi is fastest on a 3m25.805s from the No.83 AF Corse Ferrari.

LMGT3 is being topped by the No.90 Manthey Porsche, while LMP2 is headed by the No.25 Algarve Pro Racing entry.
