Luca Marini has moved up to 10th on a fresh soft rear tyre. Despite admitting he's only at 80% fitness following his Suzuka test crash, the Honda rider has shown a lot of speed today so far.

Front end washed away from Bez on the way in. Pretty typical crash for that corner.

Marc Marquez goes back to the top with a 1m19.812s, with Di Giannantonio second on a 1m20.003s.
DiGia was the fastest rider who didn't change tyres behind Marquez at the end of FP1. So, he's been quick all day so far has the VR46 rider.
But Fabio Di Giannantonio has gone quicker with a 1m20.136s.
Marc Marquez sets the fastest time of the day straight away with a 1m20.334s.
Big split on tyres right now, with eight riders on the soft rear and the rest on medium.
Bezzecchi, Rins, Zarco and Miller are on used medium rubber.

Alex Marquez was declared fit to complete the German GP weekend following checks after FP1.
He was 14th this morning.
The all-time Moto2 lap record fell towards the end of the prior session, so the track is in good shape for Practice.
The best time from this morning was a 1m20.372s set by Marc Marquez.
The lap record here is 1m19.423s, set by Jorge Martin last year. Fully expect to see that broken this afternoon.
The UK is currently bathing in a heatwave, but it's a bit more pleasant at the Sachsenring today.
Air temp is at 22 degrees C and the threat of rain looks to have shifted. So, we should get a full hour of dry running this afternoon.
