Marquez is 2.4s clear of Acosta now.
Mir is hunting Bagnaia down rapidly.
Lap 14 now. Marquez is 1.9s clear of Acosta. This is supreme pace this late in the race.
Acosta goes for second at Turn 11. Great move. Bagnaia's grip has gone by the looks of it.
Marquez's lead is 1.8s now. This is done.
Quartararo got picked up very aggressively by Morbidelli at the last corner for fifth. Not sure he'll be too happy about that.
Marquez is gone. His lead is 1.5s across the line from Bagnaia. That feels like game over.
Marquez is making his break now. He's trying to rubber stamp this one!
Raul Fernandez has gone down at Turn 1.
Alex Marquez holds the lead at 0.9s. Bagnaia isn't making inroads here.
Acosta is still third.
Mir's podium hopes are all but over as he is 3.2s down in fourth.
Oliveira has gone down.
Marquez leads at half-distance, 0.9s from Bagnaia as Acosta holds third.
Mir has quickly broken Quartararo in fourth.
Mir finally gets fourth from Quartararo with a great move on the brakes at Turn 4.
Marquez's lead stands at 0.8s from Bagnaia and Acosta.
Acosta was the fastest of the leaders last time around.
Despite the static nature of this race so far, it does feel like we are building to something as half-distance approaches.
Long way to go, but the podium hopes for Quartararo and Mir are looking slim as their deficit grows to 2s.
Eight laps down. Marquez leads by 0.9s still from Bagnaia, who still can't shake Acosta.
Current order is:
- Marquez
- Bagnaia
- Acosta
- Quartararo
- Mir
- Morbidelli
- Aldeguer
- Zarco
- Marini
- Di Giannantonio
- Binder
- Bezzecchi
- Bastianini
- R.Fernandez
- Rins
Marquez's lead is up to 1s now over Bagnaia, while Acosta is pushing hard still in third.
Bezzecchi is only 12th at this stage of the race.
Bagnaia was the quickest of the leaders last time around on a 1m59.6s vs 1m59.8s.
Marquez's lead is down to 0.7s this time around.
Mir had a look at Quartararo at the last corner but ran well wide.
Aldeguer's hopes of a win look gone already. He's stuck in sixth and 5.5s off the lead.
Marquez's lead is back up to 0.9s at the start of lap six as Acosta continues to pressure Bagnaia.
Lap times between the top three are matching each other.
Mir and Quartararo have similar pace, but there is a 1.4s gap to the podium battle there.
