Bagnaia was slightly faster than Marquez last time around, so that medium front is now starting to work for him.

Mir is attacking Quartararo now for fourth.
Bagnaia is going to have to tough this out for a while with Acosta until his rear tyre starts to drop.
Alex Marquez leads by 0.9s across the line as Bagnaia holds Acosta at bay.
Watch for Mir, though. He's coming quickly onto the rear of Quartararo's Yamaha and has pace here to challenge for the podium.

This is all working into Marquez's hands, who is close to a second clear of this fight.
Acosta takes Bagnaia for second at Turn 4, but the Ducati strikes back at Turn 5! Great move!

Big moment on the front for Bagnaia at Turn 14.
Quartararo has broken away from Aldeguer right now. Mir is looking racey in sixth and is hounding Aldeguer.
Bagnaia is the only one of the leaders on the medium front tyre, which could be conditioning his pace right now.
Marquez goes for the lead at Turn 4 and gets the move done! Bagnaia tried to retaliate at Turn 5, but it didn't work.
Onto lap two and Bagnaia leads Marquez, Acosta. Then there is a small gap back to Quartararo in fourth ahead of Aldeguer, Morbidelli, Mir, Zarco, Marini and DiGia.
Bagnaia has been reeled in by Marquez.
Bezzecchi is only 16th after the first few corners. Mir making moves in seventh but makes a bit of contact with Morbidelli.
Marquez picks up Acosta at Turn 4 for second. Aggressive move.

Though he crashed yesterday in the sprint, Joan Mir had amazing race pace on Friday on the soft tyre on his factory Honda. Maybe today is the day he ends a five-year wait for another MotoGP win.
