Weather report - Spanish Grand Prix.

The Formula One boys were lucky enough to enjoy bright blue skies, warm temperatures and sunny conditions for their trip to Spain last weekend - will the MotoGP circus benefit from similar weather as it makes the first of three visits to Iberia.

Jerez, Spain

Friday
A ridge of high pressure will become the dominant feature over Spain this weekend. No rain on offer, so the track surface will remain fairly dusty especially off line. Grip could also prove to be a problem in the soaring temperatures.

Saturday
A mainly dry and fine day. Plenty of sunshine with almost clear, unbroken blue skies, only a few patches of cloud. A very warm day with maximum temperatures of 25C / 78F. A light easterly breeze throughout. Overnight skies will remain clear and temperatures will drop no lower than 12C / 54F.
Sunday
Again another dry, fine and settled day. Sunny skies all throughout the day with only patchy cumulus clouds floating about. Again another very warm day, maybe warmer than Saturday with highs of 26C / 80F. A very light variable breeze.
