Seven-times Formula One world champion Michael Schumacher was a surprise guest at the Italian Grand Prix on Sunday - when he also took a high-speed ride on the Ducati Desmosedici two seater.

As is now traditional for his home grand prix, MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi is sporting a new helmet design this weekend at Mugello. The Italian's usual sun and moon design has been replaced by a comic book type layout, featuring some of The Doctor's favourite characters.
