Team Honda Pons given RC211V opportunity.
The West Honda Pons team will be given the opportunity to assess the Honda RC211V, prior to the 2003 MotoGP season. HRC have decided to provide the Spanish team with one RC211V, from the Pacific Grand Prix, at Twin Ring otegi, on October 6.
Vincent takes fifth GP win.
Frenchman Arnaud Vincent took his fifth MotoGP win in the 125cc category in an action packed race today at the Sachsenring.

Ryo continues development.
Team Suzuki's Akira Ryo qualified 21st for tomorrow's 9th round of the MotoGP Championship at the Sachsenring in Germany, as he continues to test new settings on his GSV-R.

Proton V5 'no Honda copy', claims Roberts.
Proton Team KR's new V5 four-stroke MotoGP bike, aimed to contest the championship next year, is not the first grand prix racer to adopt this unusual engine configuration, but team founder Kenny Roberts was quick to deny that his latest project is in any way a copy of the V5 Honda.
