Marco Bezzecchi extends his 2026 MotoGP world championship lead over team-mate Jorge Martin after a runner-up finish to Alex Marquez in Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix at Jerez.
Marco Bezzecchi, Alex Marquez and Jorge Martin all failed to finish the Sprint, but bounced back in the grand prix.
Fabio di Giannantonio joined Alex Marquez and Bezzecchi on the podium with Martin overcoming a grid penalty for fourth.
VR46's di Giannantonio now moves ahead of KTM's Pedro Acosta for third in the world championship, while Ducati's reigning champion Marc Marquez slips 44 points from the top after an early crash.
