As has become traditional at major motor racing events, the crowd at Indianapolis will be privileged to see a number of spectacular aircraft participate in a pre-race flyover prior to the start of the eighth annual Brickyard 400.

It may not be the famed Indianapolis 500 but try telling the NASCAR Winston Cup drivers that the importance for winning at the Brickyard is any less.

Following a return to form at Pocono last Sunday, Johnny Benson and the No.10 MBV Motorsports crew are taking the same car that brought them fifth place at Pocono to the Brickyard in the hope that the driver can find the Indy form that saw him lead the most laps of the 1996 event.

John Andretti - Indy's first 'Double Duty.'
Tony Stewart has done what has become known as "Double Duty" in two of the last three years, racing in the Indianapolis 500 and Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte, N.C., on the same day. It may not be remembered as much, but the first to do it was John Andretti.
