Robins sign sponsorship deal with Impact.

Impact Exhibitions & Signs Ltd and Swindon Speedway are pleased to announce that they have signed a two-year agreement for the company to become the club's main Team Sponsor.

The side will now be known as Swindon Impact Robins, and the agreement comes as the culmination of negotiations between Impact Managing Director David Jackson and Swindon Commercial Manager David Prowse.

Impact Exhibitions and Signs, based in Swindon's Okus Trading Estate, have been involved with the town's speedway club for a number of years as suppliers of corporate signage and promotional material, and they are delighted to be taking a further step forward this year, as the main team sponsor.

"Supporting local sport has been very important for us at Impact," said David Jackson, "Since we first started, we have always tried to encourage sport within our area, and to sponsor Swindon Speedway has put the icing on the cake. We wish Peter Toogood and his team the very best for the coming season."

"Peter shares with us the philosophy of teamwork and hard work, and we trust that, with our help, the team will make a huge impact this year."

David Prowse echoed the sentiments, saying, "It is great news, and we welcome David and his company on board. I thank David for his generosity, help and encouragement. I am confident that both parties will benefit immensely from this high profile partnership, and I look forward to building on the already excellent relationship which we share with Impact."

"We have enjoyed two very successful seasons with the excellent backing of Brian Cox of Swindon Soft Water," he continued, "For which we are extremely grateful. David Jackson is very keen for this local aspect of support to continue, under the new banner of Impact Exhibitions and Signs."

Finally, Prowse added that he was sure that Swindon fans would be delighted their favourite team will continue to receive good, solid commercial support, which is so vital in the club's quest for team success, and to be the best.

David Jackson started Impact in 1995, and manages the International Exhibition Division, which designs, builds and exports stands throughout the world, while Carl Jackson, who joined in 1998 as Graphics Director, manages the Sign Division, which handles corporate, retail and event signage.
