Rickardsson joins Oxford - for six weeks.
Speedway fans are to receive a Xmas present that many would never have dreamed possible as the Oxford Cheetahs management are delighted to confirm that six times World Speedway Champion Tony Rickardsson has today signed a contract to join the team in 2006.
McKinna makes six.
The Newcastle promotion were proud to announce the signing of young Scottish prospect Adam McKinna, son of Scottish International rider Kenny McKinna. Adam comes in as the required grade-C reserve along side the Diamonds grade-A reserve Jamie Robertson.

2006 SGP series now over ten rounds.
For the first time in four years, the world championship FIM Speedway Grand Prix Series (SGP) will take place over 10 rounds, BSI has confirmed. The Latvian city of Daugavpils is the new addition to the 2006 SGP calendar and will host the penultimate round of the Series on 09 September 2006.
