SS7 - Sigale-Bif. D10 / D110 (22.54 km): Loeb fastest through SS7 - after re-starting under the SupeRally system; Gronholm second; Stohl third; Sordo fourth; Gardemeister fifth; Duval sixth; Al-Attiyah leads the PCWRC category; Gronholm leads the overall event by 1min 30.4secs.

Rallye Monte Carlo: SS11 - cancelled.
The organisers of the Rallye Automobile Monte Carlo have cancelled SS11 - La Tour sur Tinee-Utelle 2, at the request of local police due to traffic congestion in the area.

Rallye Monte Carlo: SS3 - cancelled.
The organisers of the Rallye Automobile Monte Carlo have been forced to cancel SS3 - Pierlas-Ilonse 1, due to 'sporting reasons'. As such the 23.22 kilometre test was run as a road section only.

Rallye Monte Carlo: SS2.
SS2 - Guillaumes-Valberg 1 (13.60 km): Gronholm fastest through SS2; Loeb second; Panizzi third; Galli fourth; Atkinson fifth; Gardemeister sixth; Loeb leads overall by 30.9secs.

Mitsubishi have announced that they will support a number of private entries in the FIA World Rally Championship in 2006 following their decision to quit the series and pull the plug on their factory operation.

In another blow to manufacturer involvement in the World Rally Championship, Mitsubishi has announced that it has decided to suspend its participation from 2006.

Skoda pulls plug on WRC.
Skoda has confirmed that they will not run a factory team in the FIA World Rally Championship in 2006. Instead the Czech manufacturer will be represented by two privateer squads - one with backing by Red Bull, while a second team will be run around Czech champion, Jan Kopecky.
