- Ross Brawn admits he would be "amazed" if a protest against Red Bull's flexible rear wing at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix is successful.

Speaking to ESPN, Brawn believes the FIA has been consistent in its application of rules and any such protest by the likes of Mercedes or McLaren, will likely be unsuccessful.

"No, I don't think so,'' Brawn replied when asked if the result from Baku would be left in jeopardy. "I think the FIA have been pretty consistent with their approach," he added. "I'd be amazed if the stewards go against the opinion of the FIA."

- Lando Norris has clarified why he waved to teammate Daniel Ricciardo when lapping him during the Monaco Grand Prix.

Some people thought Norris was making a point to Ricciardo, but the young Brit took time to set the record straight on his Twitch stream.

All right, so I see so many of you make up absolute crap and nonsense as usual,” Norris said.“By the way, any time someone lets me pass for a blue flag, anyone, if they get out of the way properly and they should, I put my hand up and say thanks, all right?

“I did it to freaking everyone; Mazepin, Schumacher, Danny… Whoever I passed and they got out of the way, I put my hand up and say thanks. So, don’t just notice one when I passed Danny and think I’m doing something that is not right.

“Let me just get that point across because I see a lot of stories that people make up.”
