Toyota processes sponsorship deal with Intel.
Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Motorsport GmbH announced today that Toyota has come to a basic agreement on a sponsorship deal with Intel Corporation, the world's largest chip maker.

Leinders to test for Jordan Ford.
2003 Nissan World Series driver Bas Leinders will drive for Jordan Ford at the team's first test session of 2004 in Barcelona next week. The 28-year-old Belgian will get his first outing in a Formula One car on 21 January, the second day of Jordan's four-day test session.

Jordan to name 2004 drivers by Tuesday?
Jordan Grand Prix look set announce at least one of their drivers for 2004 in the coming week, according to reports in the media today.

The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team has today announced a multi-year deal with Puma AG as an official supplier. Starting with the 2004 season, Puma will provide the Renault F1 Team with their official teamwear and footwear.

Ralf stops contract talks with Williams.
Ralf Schumacher has stopped contract negotiations with the BMW WilliamsF1 team for 2005. Ralf, whose current deal with the team expires at the end of this year has been holding out for a significant pay increase - one Williams, are yet to agree to.

The Motor Sports Association [MSA] has announced that Stephen Green is the inaugural winner of the Alexander Forbes MSA Marshal of the Year Award.

McLaren continues partnership with Henkel.
The Team McLaren Mercedes Formula One team has announced that it has agreed a long-term extension to its partnership with Henkel Technologies. Both organisations are continuing a successful and mutually beneficial partnership, which began in 1995 under the 'Loctite' brand name.
Karthikeyan likely for Minardi test role.
Indian racing driver Narain Karthikeyan is edging closer to the test seat at Minardi for the 2004 season after having missed out on a race seat with the Formula One tailenders.

The all important first layer of tarmac at the Bahrain International Circuit was completed this week. Although a further two layers of tarmac are required, the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix organisers can now officially say that they have a circuit!
Briatore to be dad at 53.
Renault F1 team boss Flavio Briatore is to become a father at the ripe old age of 53, following the news that current partner, model Heidi Klum, is several months pregnant.

Piquet Jr. to get second test with Williams.
Nelson Piquet Junior has revealed that he will test with the BMW WilliamsF1 team again in January, and that it would be a 'dream' come true, should he be chosen to replace Juan Pablo Montoya in 2005, when the Colombian will depart to drive for rivals McLaren.
