Scott Dixon is looking strong on his strategy sat in third and 16 second behind Palou. I believe he is still on a two-stop too.

Palou overcooks it into T4 and runs off the track. That won't help him stay in front of Lundgaard. He seems to have been very lucky and only lost about a second and a half.

Lundgaard pits ahead of Palou again onto used softs.

Santino Ferrucci is forced to give back the position which drops him to 21st.

Ferrucci takes a aggressive line to push Conor Daly into the grass.

Kyffin Simpson is dropping down the order, he seems to have an issue. Herta has been promoted to third. He seems to have found some pace again but is now in seventh.

Soon as I say that Foster makes a move on his former rival Indy NXT rival, Jacob Abel.

louis Foster seems to have lost out in the early phase stuck in 16th after in the top group to begin with.

Palou leads while Siegel tries round the outside of Herta.

The Spaniard pits and pits on new hards. It seems the best option as he only has used softs left.

Lundgaard seems to be having a tough time on those hard tires right now, Palou seems to be making time at the moment on him.

The longest fuel stint last year was 28 laps so expect to pit soon from the front runners.

The wear on the softer compound seems much more manageable than thought. This puts the front cars in much better position at this point.

Santino Ferrucci came out  of the pits inches in front teammate David Malukas. Ferrucci is on the black wall tire while Malukas is on the red.

Lundgaard now sits 2.5 seconds behind Palou. Still plenty of time for this race to change.

Second place in the championship, Kyle Kirkwood, pits for red wall tires. He was running in ninth after starting seventh. He has dropped to 20th.

Power is back in the pits with a fire out of the back of his car. The Aussie is out of his car with the issue terminal. That's 2/3 Penske's already out.

Palou in his Open AI livery car is not escaping Lundgaard with the gap just over a second.
