Grant wins Anaheim opener!
Josh Grant made a stunning impact on his Yamaha AMA Supercross class debut by winning the 2009 Anaheim season opener, after a collision between title favourites Chad Reed and James Stewart.
Reed makes hay while Stewart misses out.
To capture his second victory of the season - both in Anaheim - Reed took the lead early during lap one and never relinquished it, going on to see off the challenge of Yamaha's Josh Hill by 6.911 seconds.
Anaheim `Throwback night` to feature `86 track!
The Throwback night will feature a replica of the 1986 Anaheim track to celebrate the epic battle between Honda riders David Bailey and Rick Johnson. Bailey went on to win what is considered one of the greatest Supercross races of all-time while Johnson captured the championship that year.
