Trade Price Cars Racing has confirmed its entry to run a two-car team during next year's British Touring Car Championship.

Two-time DTM champion Marco Wittmann will start the final race of the 2018 season from pole position after beating title contender Rene Rast in qualifying at the Hockenheimring.

The Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler Formula E squad has unveiled its new Gen2 car – dubbed the e-tron FE05 – ahead of the upcoming 2018/19 season.

Virgin Racing has confirmed a multi-year agreement with Audi that will see the British squad supplied with a customer Formula E powertrain.

Lucas di Grassi has labelled the Audi Sport Schaeffler Formula E squad’s recovery in 2017/2018 as a “miracle”,  after securing runner-up spot in the championship. 

The Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler Formula E squad is revelling in its first teams' title triumph, having pulled off an “incredible” comeback to be crowned 2017/2018 champions. 

Jean-Eric Vergne clinched the Formula E drivers' championship with one race to spare after recovering from 18th on the grid to finish Saturday's New York City E-Prix fifth, as Lucas di Grassi headed up a one-two finish for Audi.

Daniel Abt has been retained by the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler Formula E squad for the fifth season of the all-electric championship. 

Daniel Abt swept to his second Formula E victory with a dominant display in Saturday's Berlin E-Prix, leading every lap of the race en route to heading up a one-two finish for Audi ahead of teammate Lucas di Grassi.

Daniel Abt scored pole position for both his and the Audi team's home Formula E race in Berlin on Saturday afternoon, but is at risk of losing it as an investigation looms for a power irregularity through the qualifying heats.
