Miguel Oliveira will be a hot favourite for the 2018 Moto2 world title having stormed to three straight wins at the end of last season after being a frequent rostrum finisher for Red Bull KTM in his second season in the intermediate class.

Staying put at the factory-supported Austrian squad for 2018 and with the top two Franco Morbidelli and Thomas Luthi moving up to MotoGP Oliveira looks set for a hotly-contested battle between Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia.

With a race-winning package to use as a base setting at the start of 2018, the Portuguese rider will be eager to maintain his momentum from the end of 2017 with KTM to close in on a maiden world title having narrowly missed out to Danny Kent in the 2015 Moto3 world championship battle as eventual runner-up.
