We're underway for this restarted British Grand Prix, Marquez with another great launch but Bagnaia takes the holeshot from Quartararo - Quartararo to the lead to turn three, though.

Most riders also with medium front tyres.

Exceptions are Quartararo, Miller, Zarco, Bezzecchi, Acosta, Bastianini, and Chantra who have the soft; and Mir and Espargaro both on hard fronts.

Bastianini penalty

Enea Bastianini has a long-lap penalty today for the contact at turn three with Francesco Bagnaia at Le Mans two weeks ago.

Bastianini starts 17th today, and currenlty lies 15th in the championship.

Marc Marquez

Marc Marquez comes into today with a 19-point championship lead but looking to end a GP winless drought having missed out in the past two Grands Prix.

Marquez also had his Sprint win streak ended yesterday by his brother, Alex, so is also aiming to continue his successful start to the season that has seen him on the top step in at least one of the races on each weekend.

Fabio Quartararo lines up on pole position this afternoon for the third race in succession having set a new lap record in Q2 yesterday morning.

Alex Marquez and Francesco Bagnaia complete the front row, Marquez looking for his first-ever MotoGP double after winning yesterday's Sprint.
