But not for long. Marco Bezzecchi dips 0.004s under Alex Marquez's best with a 1m 30.542s.

While Marc is yet to return, younger brother Alex Marquez has put his GP26 on top of the timesheets.

The factory Ducati rider was only on his second flying lap of the day and had to get a lift back to the pits.
Marquez is using the newer Ducati front fairing, while team-mate Francesco Bagnaia has the older version.

VR46's Franco Morbidelli has now exactly matched Luca Marini's P1 time of 1m 30.644s.

Jorge Martin is up to 6th place, 1.2s behind Marini after his initial 4 lap run.
