2025 Valencia MotoGP test: LIVE UPDATES!

Jack Miller has his leathers on, so he's pretty close to heading out by the looks of it.

There was a bike being warmed up in pitlane, but it's all gone silent again. 

Aprilia has given an update on what its plan for today is: 

•⁠  ⁠Several aerodynamic updates are planned for all areas of the RS-GP.
•⁠  ⁠Electronics tests will also be carried out.
•⁠  ⁠While complying with the development freeze set by the regulations, there are solutions planned to improve engine performance, which will also be validated in the upcoming tests.
•⁠  ⁠Work will be done on fine-tuning the set-up through a series of tests that cannot be performed during a normal race weekend.
•⁠  ⁠Jorge Martín will test the new chassis that Marco Bezzecchi has already been using for several races.

40 minutes into this test and still no bikes on track yet. 

But the sun is splitting the sky, so it's really only a matter of time before the track is ready.

Miller's winter sounds busy. He's confirmed he'll take part in Valentino Rossi's 100Km of Champions event in January. 

Toprak has headed back to his team truck to get his leathers on.

Jack Miller reckons he'll be out on track in the next 30-45 minutes. 

Important day of testing for KTM, as it looks to get its 2026 off to a better start than this year - not least in its bid to keep Pedro Acosta for 2027. 

For Brad Binder, whose bike that is being warmed up, he will begin working with ex-Toprak Razgatlioglu crew chief Phil Marron today.

One issue the riders will have today is the lack of soft front tyres. Only three of them are available, and it's way too cold to use anything else. 

Track temp is currently 9 degrees C. 

While we're unlikely to see any bikes for a while, you will not be bored as we are in pitlane today to bring you all of the latest images from the test.

The headline story of today is the public MotoGP debut of triple World Superbike champion Toprak Razgatlioglu.

Ahead of that, it has been revealed he will use No.7 for his debut. His usual No.54 is currently in use by Fermin Aldeguer. 

Just 10 minutes until the pitlane opens, though it's unlikely anyone will be rushing out.

We don't know yet what the runs plans will be for teams and riders today. 

However, Aprilia has offered a suggestion that Jorge Martin's day may be short one, as he's due to speak to the media just after 1pm local time. 

Now, that's not unusual. But given he was retired from the grand prix to preserve his body, it is likely Aprilia will remain cautious with him.

When we say this is effectively the first day of the 2026 season, today represents the first opportunity to see new riders with their new teams, as well as some development ideas for next year.
