Bjerre maximum too good for Trelawny.
Trelawny return to the Clay Country Moto Parc on Tuesday evening looking for an elusive win after two frustratingly narrow away defeats. They went down 46-44 in a last heat decider at Newcastle on Monday evening - 24 hours after their 47-43 defeat at Workington on Sunday.

Trelawny played their part in an entertaining Premier League match at Workington on Sunday evening. The meeting featured some excellent racing and the JAG Tigers lost by only four points in a closely contested clash.
Mason off sick bed but Boxall a doubt.
Rye House skipper David Mason dragged himself from his sickbed on Saturday to record an excellent paid 11 score against Edinburgh at Hoddesdon. But Richard Boxall is an injury doubt after a second half crash.

Hull's title hopes badly hit by Brady injury.
Hull's Premier League title hopes have been hit by the news that Ross Brady has suffered a badly broken elbow. The Scottish youngster crashed during the home win over Somerset and now needs surgery.

Knights swoop to sign Bjorn.
The King's Lynn Silver Machine Knights have swooped to sign rising young Norwegian star Bjorn G Hansen, and the 21-year old rider, who rode in last year's World Under-21 Championship Final at Peterborough, is set to make his debut in the club's Elite League match against Wolverhampton tomorrow.

King's Lynn have booked in Sheffield's Sean Wilson as a guest replacement for the injured Sebastian Ulamek for tomorrow night's away Sky Sports Elite league match at Coventry.

Twenty-four hours after performing in front of the television cameras at Swindon, the Kent Sweepers Hammers return to their Purfleet base aiming to repel a raid from the Borders region as the Berwick Blackshaws Bandits visit in another vital Premier League match.

Prowlers through but Allott loss hits title hopes.
Sheffield Prowlers eased themselves through to the next round of the Conference League Knockout Cup with a comprehensive defeat of Newcastle last night [Monday] by a score of 58-32. After forcing a draw in the first let on Sunday it was always odds on a Sheffield victory in the second leg.

British youngsters Lee Richardson and David Howe are through to the final stage of the Grand Prix qualifiying rounds. Coventry's Richardson finished third in the semi-final in Mseno, Czech Republic and Wolverhampton's Howe edged through in 8th.

Cheetahs plan revenge for Pirates return.
The Oxford 'FOX FM' Cheetahs are out for revenge against the Poole Pirates when they visit this Friday, June 14th, 2002 for a 'Sky Sports' Elite League match. The action gets underway with the parade of riders at 7.30pm and the first race is at 7.45pm.

Hare makes first public apperance since accident.
Lawrence Hare made his first public appearance since suffering serious injuries at the British Grand Prix. The Exeter rider, who is now paralysed from the waist down, was taken by ambulance from Newport's Royal Gwent Hospital to watch from a hospitality box at the Millennium Stadium.

British Grand Prix: Sullivan wins maiden GP.
Ryan Sullivan won an incident-packed British Grand Prix in Cardiff tonight [Saturday] charging through from third place in the final to come home ahead of surprise packet Todd Wiltshire with Mikael Karlsson third and Leigh Adams fourth.

Tony Rickardsson fired a warning to his rivals ahead of the British Grand Prix in Cardiff this weekend by winning Poole's Golden Jubilee meeting.

Ronni Pedersen joins King's Lynn.
Ronni Pedersen has agreed to join King's Lynn on a short-term basis as they look to bolster their squad. The Dane will replace reserve Artur Pietrzyk who has been struggling for confidence.

Rickardsson smashes Poole track record.
A superb 15 point maximum performance from Tony Rickardsson helped Poole to a ten point victory over Oxford, a win which saw the Pirates move up to fourth place in the Elite League standings.
