Radical new livery for Matthew White Racing.

Matthew White is set to stand out in front of competitors in the 2004 Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Championship as the finishing touches are made to a striking new livery design which will be debuted at Wakefield Park this weekend.

The new livery has a flowing blue feature which reflects Jayco Caravans joining the team as a major sponsor in 2004. Key changes in the new design occur at the front and rear of the #28 Falcon which combine with the Gulf Western Oil livery campaigned last year.

"This year's design is similar to last year but we decided to incorporate a blue feature to make the car more striking," White said.

Zepol Design worked with Nathan Bond, a young artist with an interest in motorsport to design the new livery. White stating it is the most professional design ever campaigned by the team.

"Each year the presentation of teams competing in the Konica Minolta Championship steps up. While our team has always been professional I feel the new design rivals some of the livery being campaigned by teams in the main series."

White was runner up in the 2003 Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Championship and is aiming to keep the new design at the front of the field as he makes a dedicated assault on winning this year's series.

"This year the team is hungrier than ever to be crowned champions of the 2004 Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Championship. The new car design will hopefully keep me at the pointy end of the field through the year," White added.
