After winning both races over two days, Marcus Ambrose has won the Clipsal 500. Ambrose has won race 2 of the Clipsal 500 after safety car periods cut down his hard-earned lead.
A serious accident involving four cars at turn eight allowed Bright, Richards and Weel to catch Ambrose, but the pace of the 2003 champion was too much for the three Holden men as Ambrose sprinted away to the first ever ford win at the Clipsal 500.
