Sprint Gas Racing has revealed a new look for the 2009 V8 Supercar Championship season.

The Tasman Motorsport-run Holden team, which will welcome in Jason Bargwanna to partner Greg Murphy this year, will run in red colours this season as its relationship with Sprint Gas continues into 2009.

The team will also have a new look transporter for the 2009 campaign and will launch a new merchandise range for fans ahead of the first rounds of the year.

"I love the look of the team and the cars, we look sensational," Bargwanna said. "It'll be a great feeling walking through the gates at Clipsal on the first morning of the event looking like we do. Once the cars hit the track I'm sure we'll make an impact.

"I signed up for Sprint Gas Racing and was stoked to be back in V8 Supercars fulltime, where I belong. To say I'm impressed with the team is an understatement. It's obvious to me that I have a quality car and the team has pulled out all stops to make me feel welcome and comfortable.

"I seriously can't wait to hit the track. If we go as good as we look then we'll be doing alright."

Long-time Sprint Gas racer Murphy admitted that he was also impressed by he new look that will debut in the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide.

"We've made a big step forward in presentation; today we look like a professional team," he said. "It's been a long off season, but we've all been working very hard to be prepared for the test days in mid-March and the first event at Clipsal.

"I'm feeling refreshed and ready and I believe the cars will be more competitive this year compared to last year, thanks to some good development. All that's left to do is turn them on and go racing.

"The sport has made some really interesting format changes that will spice things up a lot. We want to deliver this year with some good results. Podiums are definitely on the agenda."
