Business as usual for IntaRacing despite sponsor 'loss'.

With the #77 Falcon safely on its way to New Zealand for the second round of the 2009 V8 Supercar Series in Hamilton, Team IntaRacing has confirmed that it is 'business as usual' despite the recent announcement that its major sponsor, Access Cash, had closed and withdrawn its support from the team.

Regardless of the change in sponsorship, however, the team's ownership will be retained by Intabill directors Daniel Tzvetkoff and Sam Sciacca, who established the team earlier this year, while Marcus Marshall will continue behind the wheel while the squad attempts to conclude talks with number of companies to fill the void.

"While I am extremely disappointed that we have lost Access Cash as a sponsor, I do understand that the decision to withdraw its support from the team was a business decision and reflects a restructure of parent company Intabill," Marshall said, "I'm still excited about the future for the team as we have good equipment and a fantastic crew. This is a really good opportunity for a new sponsor to jump onboard and take advantage of the exposure the sport generates, not just in Australia but also globally."

Team manager Keith Evers said that the team hoped to continue the momentum established at the opening round of the V8 Supercar Series in Adelaide last month.

"It's business as usual here," he insisted, "People need to understand that, even though the IntaCredit and Access Cash segments of Intabill have been closed due to current economic conditions, it does not mean that Team IntaRacing is no longer operational - it is the total opposite and our doors have remained open.

"It's not the first time I've had my back to the wall due to a change in major sponsors and we will charge on through this and do all in our power to ensure that Team IntaRacing reaches it's on track goals. This is a great opportunity for a new business to join us as we continue to go from strength-to-strength."
