Hopkins, Tamada hospitalised

John Hopkins and Makoto Tamada have been taken to hospital to be treated for concussion following their accident during race one at the Nurburgring.

The pair, together with Broc Parkes and Vittorio Iannuzzo, were involved in an incident at turn two, with Hopkins and Tamada being clipped by an errant bike as they were down on the tarmac.

John Hopkins and Makoto Tamada have been taken to hospital to be treated for concussion following their accident during race one at the Nurburgring.

The pair, together with Broc Parkes and Vittorio Iannuzzo, were involved in an incident at turn two, with Hopkins and Tamada being clipped by an errant bike as they were down on the tarmac.

Both have duly been taken to Adenaiu hospital suffering from concussion.

Hopkins and Tamada have both missed races this season due to injuries sustained in Superbike crashes.
